This Album consists of 7 pieces of the series " A la recherche du temps perdu" and 4 pieces of the "Adveniat" series. Finest pure neoclassical piano original compositions by Stephan Beneking in classical style, performed by pianist Ellen Cunningham Weaver.

"Time" is the main theme of " A la recherche du temps perdu", inspired by the amazing book "In search of the lost time" by Marcel Proust. "Adveniat" is a series of classical pieces composed for the peaceful christmas time.

Ellen Cunningham Weaver, pianist, lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She plays a wide range of repertoire from Bach to Brubeck and including contemporary composers who draw on classical, jazz, and traditional folk idioms. "A la recherché du temps perdu" marks a continuing collaboration with Stephan Beneking and interpretation of his neoclassical compositions.
